The Studs
Marchadores del Uruguay is not a traditional stud farm.
It is a living system where horses, people, and land evolve together.
Located within Las Nativas, we work with a herd of 30 Mangalarga Marchador horses in conditions that allow them to express their natural behavior, social intelligence, and sensitivity.
We call this process nativization:
a shift from control to relationship, from training to co-regulation, from use to coexistence.
Location
Marchadores Uruguay is located at the Hills of Las Animas (Department of Maldonado) in Paraje Puntas de Mataojo between the picturesque routes 12 and 60. We are 15 minutes away from the beautiful Pueblo Eden and 40 minutes away from the international beach of Punta del Este.
The video “Uruguay with friends” was made by our dear Brazilian friend, Jairo during his visit to the Haras at the end of 2016. It shows the Farm and provides a glimps of neibouring areas: Pueblo Eden and Punta del Este.
